I'm In the Mitten
I have arrived in the mitten -- the state of Michigan! The flights yesterday went well even though I don't like to fly. Today we went out for breatkfast, had pedicures, shopped and had an early dinner. What a relaxing day!
I even thought to bring the camera with me so that I could try my hand at taking photos of fireworks on the 4th. While waiting in Milwaukee yesterday for my connecting flight, I thought that it would be fun to document this trip and start by taking pictures at the airport. I pulled out the camera, turned it on and got the dreaded "no card" message! I had left the memory card at home and I knew right where it was -- on my desk in the dungeon. I had taken it down there to transfer pics to the computer and had forgotten to take it back up and put it in the camera. So, with dh's permission to use the credit card, I purchased a new 2 GB card today. Now I can have up to 1640 pics on the card before I have to download them to my computer. I shouldn't run out of space for quite some time!
I just wanted to check in with you all. Hope you are getting lots of scrapping done using my latest freebie kit! I want to see those pages when you get finished, so be sure to send me links!
Blessings,
Carolyn
P.S. Don't forget about the blog train that leaves the station in a few days. It's going to be a great one!
